Elektromotorji IE3 spadajo v razred IE3 mednarodnega standarda učinkovitosti. Izhodna moč motorjev IE3 je od 0,75 kW do 355 kW. Poli za motorje IE3 so 2, 4, 6 in 8. Razpon hitrosti motorjev IE3 je od 750 vrt/min do 3600 vrt/min. Frekvenca vrtljajev za motorje IE3 je 50 Hz ali 60 Hz.
